When we were approached by the AWHC, it was an opportunity to give back to the community that we couldn’t resist. We decided to build the website at next to cost, and sponsor their hosting and support for life. It is not for profit organisation that speaks out for women who really need assistance.
Working with a not for profit means getting approval from a board. In this instance, we were competing against 2 other website design companies. The reason we were chosen was we understood the requirements and aligned with the cause. AWHC wanted a website that truly reflected the values of the organisation, whilst at the same time being informative to the community. It is an informational hub and this info needed to be formatted in an easy workflow, with the user interface simple, clean, and engaging. The back end of the site is set up in WordPress, specifically in a manner where the administrator can add content and pages at their own leisure. All in all, a project we are proud of and the client is satisfied. If you are reading this and a victim of domestic abuse, you can click the Shield at the bottom of our site to discreetly get help.
